Avevano il sepolcro apud Ecclesiam S. Andreae de Acquarecciarijs dove nel 1453 venne sepolto Paolo Carsi. Nel 11464 Magn. Ioannes Iacobus quondam Angelelli de Carsis e nel 1482 Laureutius Luca filius Magn. Iioannis Iacobi Carsi, figurano fra i primari cittadini. Dom. Pompeus Carsius viveva nel 1541 e nel 1590 Dom. Antonius f. Dominici de Carsi era Conservatore di Roma. Non sappiamo se a questa famiglia appartenesse Dominus. Simon de Carsi genuensis che testò nel 1554 (Iacovacci, cod. cit.). La famiglia levò per arma: d'argento alla fascia, accompagnata in capo da un leone leopardito ed in punta da un crescente, il tutto d nero. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia, originaria della Liguria. Il commendator G.B. di Crollalanza riporta la blasonatura di questa famiglia nei volumi del suo Dizionario storico blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane.
