Adelsfamilie, die aus Chiavari stammte, von wo aus ein Antonio 1477 nach Genua zog. Antonio und Mario wurden 1528 den Zenturios zugeschrieben. Das Wappen der Familie Casaretto ist wie folgt verziert: Silber mit der nudritengrünen Palme auf dem Land derselben und zwei roten Löwen, die dem Stamm gegenüberstehen und gegenläufig sind.
