Neapolitanische Familie aus Spanien, auch verwandt mit der toskanischen Familie Moretti, alter und edler Tradition, die sich über die Jahrhunderte in verschiedenen Regionen Italiens verbreitet hat. Die ursprüngliche Erkenntnis Cascón oder Cascònes vor dem 14. Jahrhundert wurde durch Modifikationen der historischen Phonetik im 18. Jahrhundert in Italien und auch in Spanien zum Cascone. Die Waffe dieser Familie war 1302 in den Feldzügen gegen die Türken so präsent, dass die Cascone in den Siegen von Artaki (Oktober 1302) und Monte Tauro (15. August 1304) erwähnt zu werden scheinen. Ein Giovanni war 1548 Feldmeister bei den Truppen von Luis de Requesens y Zúñiga. In Italien werden die Cascone hauptsächlich in Verträgen über den Verkauf von Grundstücken und Häusern erwähnt, aus denen hervorgeht, dass sie sich in einem komfortablen und edlen Zustand befanden. 1723 ging der toskanische Adlige Marco Gregorio Moretti nach Neapel, um den Erben der Familie Cascone zu heiraten, der seinen
