Alte Familie, ursprünglich aus Damaskus, zog nach Alexandria in Ägypten, von dort nach Österreich. Unterteilt in zwei Zweige von Giuseppe und Antonio, gehört der unten beschriebene zu dem von Giuseppe, der von Papst Pius VI. (13. von Kaiser Franz II. mit Diplom vom 10. November 1798. Papst Pius VII. dann an Michele di Giuseppe mit Briefs vom 4. Mai und 13. August 1802, gewährte den Titel eines Marquis, der auf beide Geschlechter übertragbar ist. Diese Titel wurden den unten beschriebenen mit Ministerialerlass vom 22. Februar 1893 an die Kinder von Eugenio, Michele, Giuseppe zuerkannt: 1. Giulia Michelina Beatrice Maria, n. Padua, 1. September 1849, in zehn. Gen. Leone Re (Padua); 2. Giovanni Nepomuceno, Senator des Königreichs, gr. kr. Mauriziano und der Krone von Italien, Doktor der Rechtswissenschaften, Ehrenpräsident. des Staatsrates, n. Padua 12. Oktober 1853, verheiratet. Florenz, 7.
