Famiglia algherese di origine catalana le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XVI. Nel 1371 un Marco, governatore del capo del Logudoro e signore della scrivania del capo di Sassari ottenne il cavalierato ereditario. Nel 1374 egli ebbe in feudo Taniga. Nei secoli successivi i suoi discendenti ricopriorono importanti uffici nell'amministrazione finanziaria e in quella giudiziaria di Sassari. Nel 1607 un dottor Giacomo, consultore del governatore di Sassari e giudice della Reale Udienza, ottenne il riconoscimento della nobiltà. I suoi figli nel 1626 furono ammessi allo stamento militare durante il Parlamento Bajona. Della famiglia non si ebbero più notizie dal secolo XVIII.
