Antigua e ilustre familia Sassari, cuya información se remonta al siglo XIII. Inicialmente perteneciente a la nobleza menor, gracias a un buen patrimonio de la tierra, cerca de Sassari, adquirió una importancia considerable durante el período municipal, tanto que un Matteo se encontraba entre los embajadores de la ciudad que trataban la dedicación de Sassari a los aragoneses. Un Bartolomeo, entonces, fue investido con el feudo Galtellì, pero en 1370 sus descendientes vendieron el feudo al Graffeo. En 1439 un Franceschino tuvo el reconocimiento de la generosidad. Otra rama Familia antigua, de clara y ancestral virtud, con residencia en Budduso, cuya información se remonta al siglo XVII. En 1652, de hecho, obtuvo el título de caballero hereditario y nobleza, en la persona del capitán Antonio Casu Sanna, quien fue admitido en la estación militar del parlamento de Lemos.
