Ilustre família milanesa investiu no castelo, lugar e território de Somaglia, Monte Oldrado e Castelnovo di Roncaglia, como aparece na investidura de 10 de julho de 1371, rog. Ambrogio Tomerio e Giovanni Suganappi, notários de Milão, concedidos por Barnabò Visconti a Nicorolo, castelão de Melegnano e consortes, pai de Ruggero e Pietrino, confirmados por Gianmaria Visconti, duque de Milão, posse do referido conflito com investidura em 10 de setembro 1404. Bartolomeo, filho de Pietrino, gerou outros Pietrino e Sanguinolo, que obtiveram de Francesco I Sforza em 3 de fevereiro de 1452, a concessão da empresa dos três anéis cruzados e os títulos de contas e barões da Somaglia para homens, um feudo, também reconhecido com diploma 20 de março do duque Galeazzo Maria em Ugone e Battista, filhos do referido Pietrino.
