Antichissima famiglia di Fossano, detta Celebrini o Celebrin, diramatasi in Alba, Cuneo e Villafranca di Nizza. Si divise, già in epoca remota, in tre rami, cioè di Cornegliano e di Predosa, entrambi estinti, e di S. Martino. Cornegliano fu dato in investitura al conte Costanzo il 18 febbraio 1754, con titolo comitale; Predosa al conte Giovenale il 4 giugno 1792; S. Martino con S. Bartolomeo della Motta (Fossano) a Francesco Antonio (n. 31 marzo 1728, dec. 3 ottobre 1783), con titolo baronale. Egli discendeva in linea retta da un altro Francesco Antonio che viveva in Fossano nella seconda metà del secolo XVI, e diede luogo col barone Giambattista e col cav. Costanzo, suoi figli, alle due linee, primogenita e secondogenita, oggi rappresentate nobilmente. Luigi, di Clemente, di Luigi, di Giovanni Francesco, di Francesco Antonio.
