Alte und sehr berühmte kalabrische Familie, ursprünglich aus Squillace, die im 16. Jahrhundert nach Neapel zog. Dieses Haus wurde mit Adel für souveräne Privilegien vom 11. März 1536 und 10. März 1545 geschmückt, die Ottaviano, dem königlichen Rat, für sich und seine Nachkommen gewährt wurden, und für die Ausstattung mit anderen wichtigen Ämtern. Es wurde 1857 im Test des aufstrebenden Herrn Federico Pizzuti an R. Bodyguard von großzügigem Adel anerkannt. Die Familie ist in der Regel in der Uff-Liste eingetragen. Nob. Ital. Von 1922 mit dem Titel Noble (mf.) In der Person der Nachkommen von Giuseppe, mütterlichem Vorfahren von Federico Pizzuti, der 1857 nach R. Bodyguard strebte. Er wurde vertreten durch: Caterina von Adolfo (Nr. 26. August) 1828) und die edle Claudia Castriota Scanderbech, n. in Neapel 11. Oktober 1858, verheiratet dort 11. Juni 1884 mit dem edlen Giuseppe de Roggiero der Herzöge von Albano. Schwester: Elvira, n. in Neapel
