L'imperatore Rodolfo II, con diploma dato a Praga il 4 aprile 1605, creava Giovanni Battista di Santa Croce, coi suoi discendenti d'ambo i sessi, cavaliere aurato del S.R.I. In questo diploma viene ricordata e confermata una precedente concessione 1325 di Federico III della nobiltà del S.R.I. ai maggiori del predetto; e l'imperatore Carlo VI con altro diploma 14 ottobre 1723 confermava i titoli precedenti a Girolamo Armenio, mentre con successivo diploma 15 marzo 1734, lo stesso imperatore concedeva al suddetto Girolamo Armenio ed al genero Giuseppe Benedetto pure C. di Santa Croce il titolo di barone del S.R.I. mf. Quali discendenti diretti, i sottodescritti ebbero il riconoscimento deti titoli con D. P. 20 maggio 1927; Antonio Raimondo, nato Borgo Valsugana, 22 maggio 1852, di Antonio e di Augusta cont. di Spaur, spos. Innsbruck, 1 novembre 1890 con Giulia Eimen (vivente); da cui: 1. Carolina, n. Innsbruck, 24 giugno 1891; 2.
