A família Nasalli, que nos documentos mais antigos também é lembrada com os nomes Chiappuzzi Nasalli, é de origem antiga da Ligúria e encontrada no século XV, estabelecida em Varese Ligure, onde gozava de muita autoridade e consideração. Seguindo uma tradição local já iniciada, Don Girolamo Nasalli, sobre o princípio do século.
