Nobile famiglia ghibellina di Fabriano, la quale, nelle invasioni dei barbari, riparò in Germania, per poi farvi ritorno, con Federico Barbarossa, nel 1172. La famiglia, quindi, si ristabilì in Fabriano, con un Ruggero, che ne assunse il dominio.
