Ancient Macerata family who moved to Rome and where in 1574 it was ascribed to that nobility. Ludovico in 1607 was received knight of the IMO of S. Stefano di Toscana and several others were knights of the SMO of Malta. Some were of the Conservatives of Rome, and priors of Caporioni such as Alexander in 1626 and Modesto in 1804. A Theodore having married Lucrezia d'Orné, had the title of marquis for himself and descendants. The Heraldic Consulta declared that the titles of marquis (mpr.) Belong to this family; Roman patricians (mf.). Today the family is divided into two branches: that of Rome and that of Macerata. Branch of Rome (Via S. Luigi dei Francesi, 3).
