De Navarra, con solar noble en el lugar de Ciga, del Valle del Baztán, del que dimanaron dos casas que se denominaron: Ciga-Iturrigarai y Ciga-Marirena. De la primera, fueron: José de Ciga, y sus hijos Estefanía, Marta y Juan Bautista de Ciga, y la hija de este último, María Manuela de Ciga, todos los cuales comparecieron en 1776 ante la Real Audiencia de Navarra, solicitando ser reconocidos como nobles, lo que se mandó así. De la casa de Ciga-Marirena procedió doña María de Ciga, abuela de José María, Domingo Fermín, María y Eugenia de Arlegui y Ciga, todos naturales de Madrid, que en 1694 fueron también reconocidos en su nobleza por los Tribubales de Navarra. En 1807, Francisco Cayetano de Satrústegui, y sus hijos Antonio, Maunel, martina y Joaquín de Satrústegui y Ciga, vecinos de Puente la Reina, solicitaron que se asentase en los Libros de Mercedes Reales del Tribunal de Navarra la ejecutoria de hidalguía que acababan de obtener, lo que se mandó así.
