I membri di questa famiglia hanno figurato in ogni tempo nelle civiche magistrature e lungo sarebbe il ricordarli, basti il far menzione di un Antonio e di un Vello che quali Consiglieri Capitolini intervennero al famoso atto di concordia fra il papa Innocenzo VII (de Migliorati dal 1404 al 1406) ed il popolo romano; un Vincenzo nel 1416 fu priore dei Caporioni onore che ebbe pure Nicolò il quale divenne poi Sindaco del Senato nel 1552. Giovan Paolo fu priore de'Caporioni e colonnello della milizia dei feudi del Senato e del popolo romano. Ferdinando figlio del precedente fu parecchie volte Conservatore di Roma dal 1850 al 1860. I
