He recognizes as his progenitor a Jerome (17th century) who was a curial lawyer. From the city of Numana he had the honor of being aggregated with all his descendants to the nobility on September 26, 1606. Many distinguished men came out of this family and excelled especially in jurisprudence. Belisarius was an auditor of Rota and Alexander was a principal lawyer. The Heraldic Consulta (see List of nob. Office) recognized the title of noble of Numana (mf.) To this family. The presence of the motto in the documented bibliography of the family confirms the ancestral nobility of the family. In fact, the origin of the motto dates back to around the 14th century and must be sought in those witty sayings that were written on the banners or flags of the knights, displayed on the windows of the inns where they stayed, during the tournaments, and during the tournaments
