He emigrated as a youth from England to Hartford, Connecticut . with his uncle, Rev.Ephraim Huit in 1611, settling in windsor, Connecticut in 1639. 'Captain Clark' was one of the founders of Windsor, and a prominent figure in the early history of Connecticut, He was born in 1622, and died on the 10th of August 1710, having fathered one son. 'Clark' is the '18th' most common surname in North America.
