Ancient and very noble Spanish family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has spread over the centuries in various regions of Europe and the world, with major settlements in Latin America. The clear nobility of the family is confirmed by its presence in the important heraldic work "Repertorio de Blasones de la comunidad Hispánica - letras ABC-CH" by Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent (April 29, 1915 - December 21, 2005), "Cronista Rey de Armas" of the Kingdom of Spain. Its name comes from the famous Christian monk St. John Climacus (about 525/575 - Mount Sinai, about 603/650), revered as a saint by both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches.
