Antiga e muito nobre família espanhola, de nítida e ancestral virtude, que se espalhou ao longo dos séculos em várias regiões da Europa e do mundo, com importantes assentamentos na América Latina. A clara nobreza da família é confirmada por sua presença na importante obra heráldica "Repertorio de Blasones de la comunidad Hispánica - letras ABC-CH" de Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent (29 de abril de 1915 - 21 de dezembro de 2005), "Cronista Rey de Armas "do Reino da Espanha.
