Oriunda da Corinaldo (Marche) si trasferì in Osimo nel secolo XVI. I suoi membri ricoprirono alte cariche nella magistratura comunale. Paolo nato a Osimo nel 1777 da Girolamo e da Giovanna aggiunse cognome e stemma essendo, la madre, l'ultima di sua famiglia, avendo poi sposato Maria Savini, di nobile famiglia camerinese, anche essa ultima di sua famiglia, aggiunse il cognome e stemma Savini, anche perché la suddetta signora stabilì ciò nel suo testamento. L'aggiunta di tali due cognomi fu poi autorizzata con Regio Decreto del 31 agosto 1910. La Consulta Araldica (come all'Elenco nob. uff. delle Marche del 1908) riconobbe spettare a questa famiglia i titoli di nobile di Osimo e patrizio di Macerata (mf). Motto della famiglia: Ex bello pax Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia originaria di Pausola nelle Marche. Fu fregiata del titolo di conte palatino.
