Assai antica ed illustre famiglia fiorentina, con residenza in Santa Croce, nel Gonfalone Lion nero, la quale era annoverata tra quelle dette "di primo cerchio", note in Firenze sin dai tempi consolari. Soldano di Bonaccorso combattè alla battaglia di Montaperti nel 1260 e lasciò il nome alla sua casa, la quale dal 1343 al 1488 dette alla Repubblica un gonfaloniere e tredici priori. Il senatore Jacopo, di Bernardo, valente nelle lettere nel XVII secolo, fu ajo del cardinale Leopoldo de' Medici, e Filippo, su figlio, fu Vescovo di Fiesole. Con la morte del suddetto Jacopo, avvenuta nel 1674, si spense questa casa, i cui beni passarono nelle famiglie Panciatichi e Macinghi. La famiglia levò per arme. D'argento, alla banda diminuita di rosso, accostata da sei rose dello stesso ordinate tre per lato (oppure in cinta). Alias.
