Ancient and very noble Venetian family, known as Colle or from Colle of clear and ancestral virtue, from remote time ascribed to the noble Council of Ceneda, which spread over the centuries in different regions of Italy. The Venetian Senate, on 28 September 1615, confirming the investitures of 1404 and 1420, renewed to the counts of Cesana Bartolomeo Vergerio, Modesto Mozzo and Giovanni, of Matteo (dal) Colle, the investiture as a righteous and legal, noble and kind, fatherly, ancient and ancestor of the castle and countryside of Cesana and its appurtenances. The family is registered in the official Italian list with the personal titles of nobles and Cesana counts. Other branch. Noble Milanese family who wanted the same agnation as the previous one but raised their own weapon. Other branch. Noble Catalan family, called Colle, Colli or Kolle, passed first to Pisa and, in 1370, to Sicily, with a Gregorio.
