Vetusta nobile famiglia spagnuola della città di Gerona in Catalogna, portata in Palermo da Giulio Collucio verso la fine del 1500, come rilevasi da una fede di nascita dl figlio Luca 13 novembre 1600 nella parrocchia dell'Albergaria, e da cui altesì emerge la nobiltà di tal famiglia. Antonino figlio del precedente comprò l'ufficio di maestro notaro della r. tesoreria, la percettoria del val di Mazzara il 1684, e fu primo barone di S. Giovanni, come per investitura del 1685, essendo stato nel 1682 governatore di Marsala e capitan d'arme a guerra in detta città, sue coste e marine. Da lui un Giuseppe Collucio, che il 1707 fu capitano di cavalleria, del reggimento corazzieri, e percettore del val di Mazzara. Altro Antonino di lui figlio gli successe nelle cariche e fu ministro, superiore della nobile compagnia della Carità 1813. In fine la famiglia estinguesi nelle due viventi sorella Maria Grazia baronessa
