Francis I, emperor of Lorraine, with his diploma given in Vienna on 1 April 1762, conferred the Florentine Nobility on Didier Vincenzo C. for the faithful and thoughtful services he had, for a good 28 years, rendered to the Crown as an official of the Council of Finances in Lorraine, as superintendent for the transport of the Real House in Tuscany and then as Assistant Cashier of the General Depositary in Florence; as well as in memoirs of the merits towards the Court acquired in Lorraine by the father of said Vincenzo and his uncles, one of whom had been the first cesarean doctor and the other Councilor of the Podesteria of Lumeville.
