Ancienne et illustre famille d'Ospedaletto, un petit village dans les montagnes du Frioul-Vénétie-Julienne, connu sous le nom de Colussi ou Colusso, qui a été agrégé au XVIIe siècle au conseil noble de Gemona. La famille en 1723 l'acheta, payant 1200 ducats en espèces, et soumettant à la contrainte féodale de nombreuses terres pour 8000 ducats, sous la juridiction de Cavallico, Beivars et Godia de la République de Venise, qui l'investit avec le Ducale II Décembre de cette année le frères Gian Giuseppe, Gio. Battista, Pietro et Francesco, fils de feu Niccolò, leur accordant le titre de comte et les inscrivant dans l'ALT avec un décret du 16 décembre 1723. En même temps, ils soumettaient leurs propriétés à Buja et Artegna au lien féodal, pour une valeur de 8000 ducats, et versé 1200 ducats dans les caisses de l'État.Les membres de la famille ont obtenu du gouvernement autrichien la reconnaissance des
