On the proposal of the Civic Magistracy of Pisa, a sovereign rewritten on 4 October 1839 conferred the Nobility of Pisa to Doctor Giovanni (born 1780), to Ranieri, to Alessandro C., a citizen of Pisa and Florence, and to his brother, Ubaldo, lawyer and Viario Regio. The first of them was father of the doctor Alessandro (born 1804) from whom Odoardo (born 1835) and two females; and the second son had four children: lawyer Carlo (from whom Agata Sofia, born 1851), Francesco, Ranieri and Gaetano. The family is generically registered in the Official Italian Noble List of 1922, with the title of Noble of Pisa, (male and female), in the person of: Descendants of Francesco, Ranieri and Gaetano, of Ubaldino, of Ranieri. Descendants of Odoardo, Alessandro, Giovanni, Ranieri.
