Família Friuliana antiga e muito nobre, de virtude clara e ancestral, que se espalhou ao longo dos séculos em várias regiões da Itália e do mundo. A casa era a dama do Castello di Fagagna e, portanto, também era chamada Comini di Fagagna. Quando, no entanto, devido às revoluções de Friuli, ele foi privado do feudo e das propriedades, estabeleceu-se em Udine e, em 1350, juntou-se a essa cidadania.
