Con Regio Decreto 17 maggio 1925 susseguito da RR. LL. PP. 4 marzo 1926 Luigi, di Francesco C. , veniva autorizzato ad usare il titolo di Principe di Marsiconovo con successione primogeniale mascolina a guisa di anticipata successione alla madre Donna Maria Bianca Gallone dei principi di Tricase, vedova di Francesco C., Senatore del Regno, Gentiluomo di Corte di S. Maestá la Regina Margherita di Savoia. Allo stesso, unitamente ai fratelli ed allo zio Alfonso, di Luigi venne riconosciuto il titolo di Nobile di Messina, per maschi e femmine, con D. P. 13 settembre 1927. Francesco, di Luigi, con Regio Decreto di Concessione 18 marzo 1929 e RR. LL. PP. 14 maggio 1929 veniva decorato del titolo di Barone con successione primogeniale mascolina. Sono iscritti nel Libro d'Oro della Nobiltá Italiana e nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobile Italiano del 1933 coi titoli di Principe di Marsiconovo (mpr.) in virtú del Regio Decreto
