Nel 1099 si trova un Contegno Cardinale, creato da Pasquale II; il Beato Nicolò appartenne all'Ordine dei Gesuiti; Ardiccione e Bartolomeo Vescovi, il primo di Modena e il secondo di Novara. Bernardo presidente della città di Torino; Tommaso e Ludovico appartennero al Consiglio dei LX, e a quello dei dodici di provvisione. Rizzardo capitano della caccia dello stato di Milano, poi castellano e governatore di Pavia e celebre guerriero. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia di Pavia.
