Ancienne maison en Nivernais dont on trouve ce nom. Sa filiation est suivie depuis noble Jean seigneur de Vosnes et du Boislovier, conseiller secrétaire du Roi, XVIIème siècle, qui épousa, par contrat du 5 juin 1542, demoiselle Benoit de Vaux, fille de noble Eynard de Vaulx, seigneur du fief de ce nom dans le Viennois. Laquelle survécut à son mari et testa le 23 mars 1595. Noble Aymé qui habitait Satilieu, prit une part active, dans le parti catholique, aux guerres civiles de l'époque d'où le titre de capitaine qui lui est donné. Autre Jean, qui succesivement se rendit acquérer du fief de Chanelosc en la paroisse de Préaulx, puis, le 13 juillet 1620, de la baronie de Beaudiner en Velay qu'il acquit 40.000 livres des ducs d'Uzès, et qui donnait entrée aux états du Velay.
