Ancient family, originally from Trentino. Zacone Coredo transplanted into the Nona Valley, in Trentino, where in 1150 he built a castle, of which the family was a feudal lord. Already in 1300 the Coredos were among the Tyrolean noble families, and a Frederick, of Odorico, was a knight in 1303; Giovanni was an intimate councilor and president of parliament in the thirteenth century; Giuseppe was a court marshal. L'aquila bicipite di nero, rostrata ed armata d'oro, linguata di rosso, coronata all'imperiale, diademata su ambo le teste, portante sul petto uno scudo, inquartato: nel primo e quarto d'azzurro a tre fascie d'oro; nel secondo tagliato: a) di rosso al leone d'oro andante sulla partizione, rivoltato e con la coda alzata; b) d'argento a due stelle di rosso poste lungo la partizione e divise da una linea di nero; b) di rosso al leone d'oro, andante sotto la partizione e rivoltato con la coda alzata. Sul tutto uno scudetto coronato d'oro e palato di rosso e d'argento di quattro pezzi. Cimiero: Quattro elmi d'oro.
