Michele alla Chiusa, onde moravam. De Severino, o irmão de Giuliano, descende o ramo da linhagem ainda florescente que, com Carlo, secretário da Chancelaria Secreta, obteve o título de marquês de diploma imperial em 24 de outubro de 1744, transmissível na linha masculina primogenial, apoiada pelo feudo de Castellanza, adquirido então em 1748. Ele era o marido de Vittoria Medici, a última de sua casa, que estabeleceu em 1753 um direito de primogenitura em seus filhos, com a obrigação de adicionar o sobrenome Medici ao seu e de enquadrar o brasão de armas do mesmo.
