Essa família é perfeitamente conhecida por nós, se a consideramos em sua posição social ou a admiramos nos homens louváveis que produziu. Lamentamos que a falta de mais informações não nos leve ainda mais ao passado, porque tudo indica que encontraríamos ali testemunhos de origem mais remota que poderiam muito bem se soldar a uma das poderosas raças que fizeram a glória e força da Idade Média. Encontramos essa família estabelecida primeiramente na Bretanha e, sem dúvida, por muito tempo, a julgar pelas declarações do ato de 1613. Entre os personagens mais famosos dessa família, notamos: Jean, originário da viscosidade de Vire, enobrecido pela Carta de 1520. Um major do navio em 1789 morreu como contra-almirante. Honrado comerciante, comerciante Louis burguês. Étienne, comissário de classe Não sabemos se Etienne, chanceler da Bretanha e bispo de Dol em 1403, pertencia a essa família.
