E' questa una ragguardevole famiglia finalese. Fin dal secolo XVII è annoverata tra le consolari del Finale, dove un membro di essa, D. Giuseppe, innalzò un grandioso palazzo. Trovasi inscritta nel vecchio Libro d'oro della comunità del Finale andato distrutto per opera dei rivoluzionari. Il ramo della famiglia tuttora esistente fu reinscritto l'anno 1825 (19 gennaio) nel nuovo Libro d'oro riaperto per disposizione sovrana il 17 febbraio 1816. La famiglia distintasi sempre per la sua fedeltà ai principi, era ammessa a godere degli onori della R. Corte di Modena. Membri viventi: Luigi, di Antonio, di Giuseppe, di Antonio, nato 9 luglio 1856. Fratelli: Gustavo, nato 21 settembre 1860, sposato con Marta Malatesta, il 22 gennaio 1887; Edoardo nato 12 ottobre 1865, sposato con Adele Borsari, il 19 gennaio 1899; Alfonso, nato 13 luglio 1868, sposato con la contessa Paola Ferrari Bravo, il 24 giugno 1914.
