Antica ed assai nobile famiglia italiana, conosciuta come Corvi, Corvo, de Corvis o Corbo, di chiara ed avita virtù. Essa ebbe origine in Napoli da donde poi diramò in Abruzzo, stabilendosi nelle città di Atri, Ortona a Mare, L'Aquila e Sulmona. A partire dal tardo XVIII secolo diramò anche in Umbria e in alcuni territori laziali. Altri rami sono attestati in Molise. Questa casata ebbe numerosi feudi, tra cui: Campovalente, Canacchiola, Carceri, Cerasoli, Cerrano, Pietrabbontante, Roccascalegna, S. Pio, Torre Cerviglioni, Cannocchiale, Morrone e Jaevim di Isernia. Ha inoltre goduto dei seguenti titoli: patrizi dell’Aquila (1692), nobili di Sulmona, baroni di Fontecchio, baroni di S. Pio, baroni di Torre Cerviglioni (1481), marchesi di Zazzara (1606). Nel 1507 aveva anche vestito l'abito di Malta.
