Di famiglia originaria dal Castello di Soncino come l'omonima famiglia. Viveva coi fratelli in Brescia sul principio del 1400, Antonio il quale, morto attorno al 1450, ebbe tre figli: Giacomo, Domenico ed un figlio postumo cui fu dato il nome paterno. Da Giacomo discese il ramo che si estinse con Fausto sulla fine del sec. XVIII. Da Domenico ebbe origine il ramo che finì presso a poco alla stessa epoca; da Antonio II proviene il ramo vivente. Fu suo figlio Pietro, il quale dalla moglie Gerolama Comotti ebbe Giovanni Francesco, noto monaco Camaldolense, e Giovanni Battista, Ufficiale all'Estimo nello Stato di Milano, marito di Maddalena Foresti e padre di Fausto, dottore in legge, Lettore in Parma poi a Bologna morto nel 1630 e di Ippolito, che guerreggiò nell'esercito spagnolo e fu nominato Governatore di Modica, Alcamo ed altri paesi, di Quinto Fabio, che fu per sei volte deputato pubblico, podestà
