Der Ursprung dieses berühmten Familiennamens, durch Hinweise von Historikern der damaligen Zeit und anderen, die Araldis in den Registerakten von Städten und anderen privaten herausgefunden hat, konnten wir bestätigen, aber nicht versichern, dass dieser Schild oder ein anderer, der ihm sehr ähnlich war, ursprünglich aus dem 11. bis 14. Jahrhundert, insbesondere zur Verteidigung der katalanischen Länder gegen die französische Invasion von 1.285, insbesondere im heldenhaften Widerstand von Castelló de Ampuries und Perelada. Die Referenzen dieser Familie scheinen vom 15. bis zum 19. Jahrhundert häufiger angegeben zu werden, insbesondere die Ereignisse des Gewerkschaftskampfes infolge der industriellen Revolution des 19. Jahrhunderts, insbesondere mit der Installation des Dampfwebstuhls. All dies scheint mit dem Familiengedächtnis einiger Mitglieder des Corzán-Familienzweigs zusammenzufallen.
