Die Mitglieder dieser Familie stammen aus Pisa, wo Niccolò di Jacopo 1502 Prior war. Nachdem sie nach Cascina gezogen waren, wurden sie 1776 wieder in die pisanische Staatsbürgerschaft aufgenommen. Ein Ministerialdekret vom 30. Juni 1909 erkannte sie aufgrund ihrer Abstammung als Adlige an von Pisa. Quirino, Stefano, Icilio, Sesto, Giuseppe, von Angelo di Pellegrino. Die Bibliographie dieser Familie wird vom Marquis Vittorio Spreti in seiner 1936 in Mailand gedruckten italienischen Historisch-Edlen Enzyklopädie erwähnt. Er sammelt Manuskripte heraldischen und edel-genealogischen Inhalts in Bibliotheken sowie in vielen öffentlichen und privaten Archiven. Die für die Entstehung des betreffenden Werkes gesammelten Zeugnisse und Unterlagen wurden von der Familie selbst übermittelt. Wie im Heraldic Magazine gezeigt, das vom Heraldic College of Rome herausgegeben wurde.
