No século XV encontramos uma família em Trapani, cidade em cuja cidade um Giacomo ocupou o cargo de senador nos anos 1436 - 1437, 1447 - 1448. Não sabemos se esse Salvatore Cosentino que, em 30 de julho de 1786, obteve o título de barão de Rondè, título que, com DM 6 de fevereiro de 1899, foi reconhecido na pessoa de Giuseppe Cosentino e Schininà, de Vittorino, de Salvatore. Lema da família: Omnia vincit amor. Outro ramo. Antiga e nobre família da Calábria. Outro ramo. Família originária de Sorrento, recebida na Ordem SM de Malta em 23 de setembro de 1725 com Giuseppe Maria do Marquês de Aieta, de Sorrento, menor. Antigo senhor feudal, em 1641 do título de Marquês de Aieta; título passado, por sucessão feminina, à família de Miro dos duques de Collecorvino, pelo casamento de Maria Giuseppa, de Domenico, marquês de Aieta, com Innocenzo de Miro, seguido
