Le nom ancien de cette famille est Glezran, Jean, armé pour le recouvrement de la personne du duc en 1420. La branche aînée fondue dans Kerlazrel, puis Euzenou. Jean, juveingneur, épousa en 1470 Catherine de Kernicher; Sébastien, fils des précédentes, s'établit en Artois, où il francisa son nom en la Vieuville et épousa en 1510 Perrine de Saint-Wast. Le seigneur de Lezergué, paroisse d'Ergué-Gabéric, débouté à réformation de 1668. Autre branche illustre de cette famille: Hugues, croisé en 1248, (chartes latines de 1191 à 1249 relatives aux croisés, provenant du cabinet Courtois); Jean ratifie le traité de Guérande en 1381; Biand épouse en 1400 Marguerite de Kergorlay; Mathias, élu évêque de Tréguier en 1417; deuz chevaliers de l'ordre en 1614 et 1634. Fondu en 1688 dans le Peletier. A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on reproduit ci-dessous et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique, l'assurance d'une valeur remarquable. Il est fort difficile, pour ne pas dire impossible, de réunir en faisceau toutes les tiges éparses de cette maison.
