Die Familie Cagliari verbreitete sich auch in Catania, deren Nachrichten aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammen. Es gehörte der Bourgeoisie an und seit Beginn des 18. Jahrhunderts waren einige seiner Mitglieder Hauptberater und Juroren von Cagliari. Im Jahr 1815 erhielt der Anwalt Bonaventura eine Empfehlung der SS.
