Familie vor 1200. Diese alte Pistoia-Familie hatte zu jeder Zeit hohe Ämter und Würde und berühmte Verwandte. Ausgelöscht in einem Zweig der Familie Sozzifanti, der die Emaille des Wappens durch Übernahme des silbernen und schwarzen Schnitts veränderte. Diese Familie, die den Nachnamen von einem "Sozzo di Fante" übernommen zu haben scheint, von Casore del Monte im Val di Nievole, wo sie Land und Burgen besaß, stieg gegen 1200, als die Burgen des ländlichen Raums zerstört wurden, nach Pistoia ab und erhielt sofort die Registrierung in der Magnatenordnung. Bouldrone von Soldo, Konsul der Soldaten von 1207 und Teberto d'Arciprete, erscheint 1209 unter den Vertretern von Pistoia, die Frieden zwischen ihrer Gemeinde und der von Bologna schworen.
