Nel 1479 un Michele era capitano ducale, mentre il fratello suo Giacomo, dimorante in parrocchia di S. Maria Podone, apparteneva al Consiglio Generale della città. Il figlio suo, altro Michele, fu aulico ducale e l'abiatico suo, Guglielmo, nella prima metà del sec. XVII tenne l'ufficio di provveditore generale dell'esercito di S. M. Cattolica. Da questi discese Michele, che nel 1751 fu aggregato al patriziato milanese: sua moglie, donna Adelaide Maggiolini, figura fra le dame ammesse alla Regia Ducal Corte nel 1776 e lo stemma suo trovasi delineato nel Cod. Araldico, presso il R. Archivio di Stato in Milano, al fol. 160. Il figlio loro, Giacomo, co' fratelli Carlo e Luigi, venne riconosciuto nell'antica nobiltà con sovrana risoluzione 1816. I C. sono ascritti al patriziato milanese, hanno diritto al trattamento di Don e di Donna e sono iscritti nell'Elenco ufficiale in persona di: Emilio, di Luigi, di Pace e di sua
