Famiglia parmense della quale si hanno notizie dal secolo XVI. Risulta da un attestato del Podestá di Parma in data 5 luglio 1816 presentato alla Commissione Araldica istituita dalla Duchessa di Parma Maria Luigia d'Austria, che gli individui della famiglia Crescini sin dal 1577 godevano del titolo particolare di Magnifico e che in grazia degli importanti servigi resi ai Marchesi Malaspina, signori di Mulazzo, Signorino Crescini, nel 1594, fu da quelli decorato del Privilegio di poter aggiungere alla propria anche l'arma dei Malaspina (e cioé una spina simile a quella dei predetti marchesi) e poi fu aggregata, con tutti i suoi discendenti alla stessa famiglia Malaspina con facoltá di aggiungere al proprio anche il cognome. Il predetto Signorino era Podestá di Podenzano nel parmense nel 1693 e la patente di famigliaritá e di aggregazione a lui concessa dai Malaspina, fu dovuta al matrimonio contratto dal predetto con Anna Maria Malaspina
