Oriunda da Montereggi e consorte dei Tragualzi e dei Crociani-Del Fede. I membri della famiglia esercitarono l'arte tintoria, ed ebbero le loro officine ov'erano i lavatoi detti delle Stinche. Dal 1380 al 1525 conseguirono per quindici volte il priorato, e Andrea di Cresci di Lorenzo fu gonfaloniere di giustizia nel 1467 e nel 1470. Cresci, suo padre, era stato dei Dieci preposti alla guerra dei Volterrani nel 1420. Di questa famiglia non si hanno più aggiornamenti da tempo. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia di Ancona, a cui la Consulta Araldica (v. Elenco nob. uff.) dichiarò spettare i titoli di patrizio di Ancona; conte. Della famiglia non si hanno più notizie. La famiglia alzò per arma. D'azzurro alla fascia d'oro, accompagnata in capo da tre gigli d'oro posti in fascia, e in punta da un crescente montante di argento, accompagnato da tre stelle di 8 raggi d'oro, male ordinate.
