Antike römische Familie, die Curiambraca hieß und sich um 1590 in die Stadt Torri in Sabina zurückzog, wo ein Angelello den Nachnamen Ciccalotti annahm. Dort blühte diese Familie und hatte einen guten Ruf; es besaß eine reichhaltige und auserwählte Bibliothek, die sich vor allen anderen der Sabina nach der von Farfa übertraf und reichlich durch wertvolle Codes gekennzeichnet war. Ein Raffaele bereiste die verschiedenen Klassen in der römischen Prälatur, er wurde Dekan der Kammerkleriker. 1625 hatte Antonio die Leitung und Verwaltung der Reverend Apostolic Chamber. Am 8. November 1814 wurden die Ciccalotti auf Ersuchen der Brüder Basilio, Paolo und Luigi auf Ersuchen der Brüder Basilio, Paolo und Luigi in das Goldene Buch des Kapitols aufgenommen.
