Jacob, di Angelo, di Vita d'Ascoli, ebreo, al principio del secolo XVII si trasferí a Massa, insieme col padre. Ebbe tre figli: Giuseppe Gaone, Jechi e Raffaele, che nel 1649 si fecero cristiani; e furono tenuti a battesimo da Carlo Cybo, Principe di Massa, che dette loro il cognome di Cybeo. Dal "Catalogo dei manoscritti della Libreria Ceccopieri" (esistente nella Biblioteca Estense di Modena), si rileva che nella Libreria stessa si trovava la "copia dei diplomi di nobili aulici col titolo di conte ai fratelli Pietro e Giuseppe de Ciibis (1724)". Pietro, che fu protonotario apostolico, e Giuseppe, che morí nal 1766 senza prole, erano figli di Raffaele, che nell'atto di battesimo si chiamó Carlo Maria. Si tratta dunque di un titolo che riguarda un ramo dei Cybeo estinto. Il Frediani in un albero di questa famiglia, da lui composto, assicura che Pietro Girolamo (un discendente di Jechi, al battesimo
