Jacob von Angelo von Vita d'Ascoli, Jude, zog zu Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts zusammen mit seinem Vater nach Massa. Er hatte drei Kinder: Giuseppe Gaone, Jechi und Raffaele, die 1649 Christen wurden; und sie wurden von Carlo Cybo, Prinz von Massa, getauft, der ihnen den Nachnamen von Cybeo gab. Aus dem "Katalog der Manuskripte der Ceccopieri-Bibliothek" (vorhanden in der Estense-Bibliothek von Modena) geht hervor, dass in der Bibliothek selbst die "Kopie der Diplome der edlen Kurtisanen mit dem Titel des Grafen der Brüder Pietro und Giuseppe de Ciibis (1724)" vorhanden war. Der apostolische Protonotar Pietro und der 1766 ohne Kinder verstorbene Giuseppe waren Söhne von Raffaele, der bei der Taufe Carlo Maria genannt wurde. Es ist daher ein Titel, der einen ausgestorbenen Cybeo-Zweig betrifft.
