Jacob, de Angelo, de Vita d'Ascoli, judío, a principios del siglo XVII se mudó a Massa, junto con su padre. Tuvo tres hijos: Giuseppe Gaone, Jechi y Raffaele, quienes en 1649 se hicieron cristianos; y fueron bautizados por Carlo Cybo, Príncipe de Massa, quien les dio el apellido de Cybeo. Del "Catálogo de manuscritos de la Biblioteca Ceccopieri" (existente en la Biblioteca Estense de Módena), se observa que en la Biblioteca misma había "copia de los diplomas de cortesanas nobles con el título de conde a los hermanos Pietro y Giuseppe de Ciibis (1724)".
