Familia muy antigua, originaria de Verona, que se extendió a lo largo de los siglos en diferentes regiones de Italia. La cognición, anterior al siglo XII, debería ser una patronimia del nombre Ercole, donde la "D '" significa hijo de, refiriéndose a un hijo del progenitor llamado Ercole. En 1246, Aldrighetto D`ercole, junto con varios otros hombres nobles, por orden del inhumano Ezzelino, fue asesinado en nuestra plaza. Giovanni, un médico erudito, alabado por Chiocco y Panvinio, murió en Ferrara en el año 1458 en la corte del duque Borso. Arnolfo primero D`ercole, en 1409, y Arnolfo segundo, en el año 1456, tuvo lugar en el Consejo Noble de Verona; el primero en 1404 fue Giudicato en Soave, el segundo, hijo del mencionado doctor Giovanni, ocupó el mismo cargo en 1456. Posteriormente, los nombres de los D`ercole se recuerdan principalmente en textos, instructores y contratos para la venta de tierras
